Client Feature Friday: Three Times the Fun! Three Times the Authenticity!

Jezebel VonZephyr works with all kinds of women, from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We love connecting with each client, hearing their stories and capturing their unique spirit. We believe that each session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. Every Friday we’ll feature one of our clients and share a little about her.

This week’s Belle is a California girl who now calls Snohomish her home. She’s done multiple sessions and has had the time of her life in each one! We’ve had a lot of fun capturing her fun-loving spirit and seeing her grow throughout the time that we’ve known her. Read on to learn why she’s done three shoots with Jezebel VonZephyr!

Age: 45

Where are you from? Born in San Diego, CA…but I live in Snohomish now

What is your theme song? Lady Gaga “Poker Face”

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Loyal, Caring and Giver

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? I have had 3 and loved every single one of them!

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? A friend brought me to the Jezebel Gala birthday party for my birthday. I was absolutely blown away by what JVZ stands for and what Sara, Tiffany and Kaitlyn do. 💜

How did you feel before your shoot? Before my first shoot I was an absolute nervous wreck. Before my third shoot, I was completely at ease. In fact, Sara asked as I was having my hair and makeup done, how I wanted the shoot to go and my reply was “Out of bounds!” It was a complete 180 from when I first came in.

How was your session? Every session had its own uniqueness about them. My first was everything I wanted and more. I got to bring out my Harry Potter stuff and I was in awe by my photos. My second shoot I delved a little more into my naughty side and showed more skin than I did before. Plus, I got to wear the Wonder Woman corset!!! At my third shoot I let myself be me. I had a blast and felt completely at ease.

What was your favorite part? My favorite part is always playing dress up and just letting myself show the real me. It’s very empowering.

What was your favorite look from your session? I have to name one?! I loved pretty much all of them. From my first shoot I loved the rose gold corset that I wore for the HP portion and then the black teddy for the last of that shoot.  At My second shoot it was the green corset I wore and the Wonder Woman corset costume. My third shoot, there were a bunch: the blue bodystocking with the matching panty set, the black bodysuit with the moon, the white outfit with my lightsaber and the black light reactive outfit too!

Why? The HP outfit was me dipping my toes into the boudoir waters per se. It was definitely new for me and I loved how it made me feel. The black teddy I wore at the end of the first shoot holds a special place in my heart. During the shoot, Sara gave me a sneak peek of one of those photos and it actually brought tears to my eyes. That was the first time I ever really saw myself shine through and I saw a beautiful woman. The green corset for the second shoot made me feel absolutely stunning. It felt like it was made for me and it was a studio piece. The Wonder Woman corset costume brought out my inner child! She was my hero growing up and to get to dress up like her…yes please!! My third shoot outfits let me show my wild side. I felt absolutely comfortable and sexy as all get-out!

How are you feeling since your session? I feel more fierce (not in a bad way), confident and beautiful.

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio?  My first shoot I brought my Harry Potter stuff. My second shoot I let the studio dress me and didn’t bring much at all. My third shoot I brought my own pair of Christian Louboutins and my lightsaber.

Why? My Harry Potter stuff got to show my fandom love! My Christian Louboutins were something I bought for myself as a promise kept to my aunt when passed away. She made me promise to buy a pair of expensive shoes of my own (because I am a lover of shoes) to wear to her memorial. My lightsaber brought my happy little sci-fi geekiness to fruition!

How was your reveal? Each reveal was better and better. It was honestly like peeling back layers of an onion (yep…happy tears were involved often). Each layer brought more and more of myself to the top.

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Do it! Don’t let fear hold you back. Honestly, if money is holding you back, the JVZ team is great about working with you. They don’t want to let anything get in the way of you seeing yourself the way others see you. Also shop in your closet before you go crazy looking for stuff. You’d be amazed at what you already have that you can use for your shoot. Plus the studio has so much that you could use, too!

Anything else you want to share about your session and/or experience? I am so grateful for the women of JVZ and how much they helped me see the beauty within myself. I love how I have made lifelong friendships because of them. They are amazing human beings!!! Love you ladies!

Did her story resonate? Love the photos? You could create some magic of your own with Jezebel VonZephyr! If you’d like to see yourself in a new light, book an appointment for a shoot today!
