Happy 8th Birthday, Jezebel!

It’s almost July, which means it’s almost birthday celebration time!! Jezebel VonZephyr turns 8 on July 25th and we are so damn excited to celebrate!! 

Over the last seven years we’ve had the honor of photographing over 1,100 women. Jezebel VonZephyr is proud to have helped so many amazing women see themselves in a new light and to be a part of their journey of self-love. The studio has come so far in such a short time. When Sara began JVZ she wasn’t sure if she would be successful: would Jezebel be able to walk on her own? Now, not only does she walk on her own, she runs, she struts, she dances, she flips off those who don’t honor her boundaries, she revels in her beauty, she raises her voice, she stands up for justice, she is loud and proud as fuck! The Jezebel VonZephyr online community consists of nearly 4,000 women brimming with support and love for the studio and each other. And the Jezebel VonZephyr team consists of three badass babes who are supported by two more strong, powerful women. Jezebel is working towards taking over the world with her message of body positivity and inclusivity. 

To celebrate Year 8, we’re hosting an in-person outdoor party! One of Jezebel’s proudest, most fun traditions is throwing a birthday party and this year we’re inviting everyone we love! The theme for this year’s bash is BEDAZZLED BABES!!! We love it when women shine and we want to celebrate our eighth birthday with a lot of sparkle! So we’ll be hosting an in-person, outdoor celebration full of yummy food, lots of fun and sparkly gems! And cake. Obviously there will be cake! 

This year’s celebration will be held on Saturday, July 10th from 3 pm to 8 pm at Flowing Lake Park in Snohomish. (Note: parking at the park is $10 so make sure you plan ahead!) As much as we wanted to invite everyone to the studio, it’s just not feasible due to Covid. But we’re so excited to have an outdoor party! Everyone is invited, as long as you’re 21 or over! Feel free to bring your partners, friends, or family with you to our celebration, but please be sure to leave your kids and pets at home. We also ask attendees to be fully vaccinated. We want to make sure we are all celebrating safely! 

So what’s going to happen at our birthday bash? Why should you come? Oh, for lots of reasons! 

It’s our birthday but we’ll be giving you gifts! We’ll be raffling off Jezebel VonZephyr goodness in the form of free sessions and print credit! You might be one of the lucky winners of a free canvas! Or maybe you’ll win the coveted wine gift basket! Jezebel is very generous around her birthday, so it’s an excellent reason to buy your ticket to our birthday event now. 

We’ll have a photo booth at the party as well! Grab your friends, a few props and pose away! Grab the JVZ team and get goofy with them! We love a good photobooth so we never celebrate without one! 

And did we mention bedazzling?!? We’ll also be cooking up some crafty goodness at the party! Who doesn’t like to sparkle and shine? Nobody! That’s why we’ll be providing bedazzling supplies so you can create your own glittering craft! We know a thing or two about personalizing gear, so we’ll provide the gems, feathers, fringe, pearls, lace, and beads–you just need to bring the thing you want to bedazzle! 

What could you bring? The possibilities are endless!

• A swimsuit top!
• A pool coverup or kimono!
• A bandanna for your pet!
• A collar for your furry friend!

• A tee shirt! (Oooh, you could tie-dye a t-shirt before-hand then add some fun sparkle to it for a truly unique summer style!)
• A journal! 
• A makeup bag! 
• A wristlet or small purse! 

If you can dream it up, we can help you bedazzle it. And who knows? Maybe you’ll create something stunning that you can rock at your next JVZ photo session! 

What should I wear?!? We ask ourselves this question daily (because we’re an indecisive team), but we got you covered for our party! Since it’s at a park, the attire will be casual. You are free to dress up if you wish, but there’s no need since we’ll be outdoors and doing crafty things under the sun. We’ll be dressed in cool, comfy things and invite our guests to do the same. Whatever you want to wear will be fine by us, as long as you’re cool with rocking your look in the summer heat and outdoor elements. (You are welcome to wear a crown if you’d like. As you can see, we’re big fans of crowns at Jezebel VonZephyr!)

We are so excited to celebrate our 8th birthday with everyone we love! Tickets are on sale now for our party on July 10th. They’re $25 until July 3rd, then the price goes up to $40 so snag your tickets soon and save some cash!
