Client Feature Friday: A Summer Boudoir Session in the Sun!

Jezebel VonZephyr works with all kinds of women, from the suburbs of Seattle to all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We love connecting with each client, hearing her stories and capturing her unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. Every Friday we feature one of our clients and share a little about her.

Today we feature a Washington state resident who wanted to play in the sun! This Belle did her first session with Jezebel in the summer of 2019 at a lovely estate out in glorious rural Washington. We loved getting to know her and capturing her spirit outdoors in the sunshine!* What was her Jezebel VonZephyr experience like? Scroll on to find out!

Age: 42

Where are you from? I was born in Portland, Oregon, but I’ve been living in Washington state since I was around 5 years old. 

What is your theme song? This is a tough one! Songs I will always sing if I hear them are “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen and “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Reliable, generous and optimistic.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? I have only had one so far, but I hope to do another in the future! 

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? A brand ambassador (Valerie) turned me onto the idea and gave me the scoop. At the time I was in a relationship with her ex-husband and Valerie and I clicked. I really looked up to her and was amazed by her confidence and all the healing she had done since her divorce. 

How did you feel before your shoot? I was nervous but excited. 

How was your session? What was your favorite part? It was flipping hot that day. I loved the getting ready chit chat, the makeup and picking outfits out. Then, of course, the actual shoot time was fun and made me feel comfortable and beautiful. Sara and Tiffany are the best! 

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? Hmm, it’s so hard to pick! I really liked them all. 

How are you feeling since your session? There have been lots of changes since my session – it was back in late summer 2019. Life is very different now. Since then I’ve had a break up, moved and we can’t forget about all good friend/enemy COVID. 

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought my own outfits because I thought I would feel more comfortable and I felt good in those choices. I did use lots of accessories though, which was awesome! 

How was your reveal? My reveal was amazing! It was so awesome to look at all the beautiful pictures and feel like a queen or famous person for the day. 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? DO IT, you won’t regret it and if I had unlimited funds (I know they work with you and have great payment plans, too) I would do way more! 

Anything else you want to share about your session and/or experience? I just want to say I am very grateful to have had this experience. Sara and Tiffany are amazing. I love being a part of the JVZ family and can’t wait for my shoots!
