Client Feature Friday: Pretty Powerful

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on women of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear her stories and capture her unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so she can share a part of her story. 

Today we hear from a lovely new client who came in because she wanted to explore her favorite fandom: Supernatural! She found her power and strength through her shoot and had a blast while doing so. Win win! We were thrilled to welcome another member of the SPN family to the studio for a Project Fan Girl session!

Where are you from? I’m from Monroe, Washington.

What is your theme song? Mary on a Cross by Ghost

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Quiet, kind, and caring.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? Yes, this was my first shoot.

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I wanted to feel confident in myself.

How did you feel before your shoot? Nervous! 

How was your session? What was your favorite part? It was amazing! I felt so beautiful!

My favorite part was getting into the outfits and just thinking to myself ” I feel powerful as my favorite character.”

What was your favorite look from your session?  My Dean look was my favorite look. (The red buffalo check flannel look featured at the beginning of this blog post!) 

How are you feeling since your session? I badly want to do another shoot!

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought my favorite flannels for my characters because I was doing a Fan Girl session.

How was your reveal? I cried because for the first time in a long time I felt pretty.

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? My advice is do a shoot that isn’t for someone else but for yourself.

Do it for yourself.

Anything else you’d like to add? I did this shoot on my period. I didn’t feel confident in myself at first. But doing this made me feel so personally powerful and confident in myself on my period!
