Client Feature Friday: Sensual and (Almost) 70!

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.

Today we feature a client who may be a little older, but she sure knows how to access her sensual side! We loved her energy in the studio!

Age: I’m 69 (I’ll be 70 in June.)

Where are you from? I’m originally from Holland and now I live in Mill Creek

What is your theme song?  I have a couple: Black Magic Woman or Shining Star. 

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?  Kind. Sexy. Sapiosexual.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? I’ve had two sessions

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I wanted to embrace my inner sensual exhibitionist self.

On a more personal note, I had a near death experience a few years ago that made me look at life in a completely different way. I was hospitalized for over three weeks with tubes attached everywhere. I was so sick and getting sicker everyday; there were no answers as to why. All tests came back negative, yet something was very very wrong.

Finally I underwent an exploratory surgery. (I have a scar from my chest to under my belly button.) What they found was a small piece of a toothpick that I had somehow swallowed. Rather than my body excreting it, the object had caused an abscess in my abdomen, then punctured the abdomen wall, floated around and caused damage to my organs, including a collapsed lung.

If they not done the surgery I would have died in about 24 more hours. Who knew something so small could do so much damage? (And that wood does not show up in X-rays!?) 

My scar is not pretty but it is my reminder that each day is precious and life should be lived to its fullest.

How did you feel before your shoot? I felt excited!

How was your session? What was your favorite part?  It was great! I loved feeling comfortable in my own skin. I also enjoyed playing dress up. 

What was your favorite look from your session? Why?  The mirror reflection on the bed image was my favorite. It shows just enough sensuality with a wee bit of mystery.

How are you feeling since your session? Unfortunately in my everyday professional life I can only show my “society appropriate lady side”.

It feels great to allow a little bit of naughty out of the closet! 

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought some red lingerie that was a gift and made me feel sexy and seductive, even as a mature female of almost 70.

How was your reveal?  It was good. And I thought about how I could/would pose a bit different at my next shoot. 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ?  Just DO IT!!!!
