Client Feature Friday: Changing Worries to Winning Smiles

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.

Today we feature a new client who came in for a goddess session. This was her first boudoir session and she came into the studio with a few worries. How did her shoot go? Read on to find out!

Where are you from? I’m from Tacoma, Washington. 

What is your theme song? This one is so hard!! I’ve really been feeling Spillways by Ghost this year.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? It was my first!

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I’d been considering a boudoir shoot for a while, and when the giveaway came up I decided to poke around online. I realized JVZ would be a great fit for me.

How did you feel before your shoot? I was so nervous! Would I like what I was wearing? Would my face do anything weird? Would I fall over in my heels? (Don’t worry, I didn’t!)

I had so many thoughts going through my head.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? It was amazing! I rarely look at myself and think I look sexy, and I really looked and felt it during my session.

I think my favorite part was chatting and laughing while taking pictures, it really helped me be relaxed while we were shooting.

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? I think my second look, in the black corset top. I felt so powerful and sexy in it. 

How are you feeling since your session? I’ve definitely seen a boost to my confidence. I’ve been feeling a lot better about myself since.

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I did! I brought in a big leaf cape I use for a cosplay of one of my favorite characters. I brought it with me because it’s part of an outfit I feel confident in, and I wanted to bring that confidence into my session. Plus it photographs like a dream, so I knew it would look good.

How was your reveal? Amazing! Seeing the final product was wonderful.

I never could have guessed I could look so good and confident. 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Don’t let your nerves stop you! JVZ creates such a comfortable environment for your session, and your nervousness will quickly evaporate.

I never would have guessed this could be so much fun and that I would get so much out of my experience.
