We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Have you ever wondered ‘what if?’ – and then spent time thinking of all the possibilities? Our strong, beautiful Belle in this week’s Client Feature Friday is a mom, a business-woman and a fan-girl who took a chance and found that she was no damsel in distress, but instead a sassy, limitless QUEEN ready to take her throne!

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not how many have you had?
Yes!! First of many hopefully!
Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ?
My son wanted to spin the wheel at Emerald City Comic Con, I was riding high after meeting Chris Evans and thought.. ya know what YAS! LET’S GO!!
How did you feel before your shoot?
I was a little nervous and felt embarrassed and silly for doing it.
How was your session? What was your favorite part?
SO MUCH FUN!!!! I loved the fog and the set ups were perfect!
What was your favorite look from your session? Why?
Mine is really an even tie, I loved my purple corset and Ursula skirt and I felt like such a bad ass in my Kraken Jersey!!
How are you feeling since your session?
Like a bad ass queen, no exaggeration I have felt so gorgeous and empowered since I got my images!
Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why?
I brought my custom-made Ursula dress that my husband had made for me years ago because I have never worn it to its full potential!! It did not disappoint! I also brought my custom Kraken jersey because I wore it for one game and it has not fit since due to weight gain and pregnancy. Fitting back in it and having room to be sexy was a goal that I was happy to achieve!!
How was your reveal?
I cried, I was so thrilled and amazed and in utter shock!! I felt so incredibly beautiful and like a lil celebrity!
Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ?
DO IT!! Don’t question yourself or hesitate, just do it you will not regret it!!
Anything else you’d like to share?
I know it seems like an over-commitment to say, but this photoshoot reignited a fire in me to leave a lasting impact on the world. I have worked as a life coach for moms for the last 3 years and I have become rather complacent in marketing and seeking new clients. After this photo shoot and seeing my authentic self shine through, I realize I owe it to myself and the rest of the world to make big changes and leave my legacy so other women can feel empowered to do the same!!
This client’s story really shows how magical a boudoir photoshoot can be in boosting body positivity and embracing who you truly are. Her session with JVZ may have happened on a lark, but as with so many things in life – chance encounters can lead to incredible things!
