We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Welcome back to our weekly spotlight!
Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to a strong, empathetic Belle originally from Seoul Korea who loves all of the stunning nature the PNW has to offer! After seeing our story and reading about our passion for bringing positivity into others lives, this incredible woman decided she wanted to come celebrate herself with Jezebel and went home feeling like she could take on the world – which we love to see! ♥
Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
From Seoul, Korea. Living in Lake Stevens, WA. I love nature in Washington
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
“Love My Body” by Elle Baez. I love the message to love your body as you are. You don’t need to do the latest weight loss trend to love what your body does for you each and everyday. My body carries me to work, modeling & most importantly, my family. Stop thinking we don’t deserve to worship our own temples. Our bodies need love and no more hate.
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Empathetic, Strong, Resilient
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?
Yes!
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
After reviewing your story and all you do to bring positivity to people’s bodies, I knew I wanted to work with your studio! What a talented and amazing group of people!
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was so comfortable! I enjoyed talking about what I wanted out of the photoshoot and collaborating on what artistic shots we wanted to get. I had so much fun with the creativity. I gave everyone at the studio my ideas and they brought that to life for me!
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
Oh gosh this is so hard to respond! I LOVED all of the sets and outfits! Like everything! My favorite studio piece is definitely the wings. Every person needs to wear these wings and live out their fantasies!
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?
Phenomenal! It was a very positive environment!
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?
Nikki did an amazing job! She really made my whole look pull together. The eyes omg!
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?
I felt very secure. No worries in the world of this.
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?
I was so tired! But I felt so empowered and like I could take on the world.
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?
We had so much fun! The amount of shots we got was amazing!
Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.
Definitely learning to be more outspoken and communicating my visions/ideas.
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?
Stay relaxed! This is going to be fun if you allow yourself to be directed by Sara and Nikki who are fantastic! Their compliments and directions are genuine because they want you to fall in love with your photos too! It’s an experience to celebrate yourself! Don’t allow negative thoughts to keep you from doing this empowering experience!

This client’s story really shows how magical a boudoir photoshoot can be in reclaiming our authentic selves. Her session with JVZ wasn’t just about taking beautiful photos; but rather, finding a genuine, loving space that truly emphasizes how healing and important loving our bodies can be!
