We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Happy Friday beautiful friends! The chill of February ends at the doors, because today we’re turning up the heat with a little lace and our popular red-room set!
Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to a loving and thoughtful Belle originally from Taiwan who enjoys the farms near her home in Snohomish, Taylor Swift & Justin Timberlake! No stranger to the boudoir scene, she fell in love with the positivity and beautiful messages of Jezebel and decided she needed to experience the love for herself ♥
Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
Originally from Taiwan, but have lived in Washington most of my life. Currently live in the Mill Creek/Everett Area. We are close to all the farms in Snohomish which my kids love.
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Bryan Adams.
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Caring, Thoughtful Adventurous
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?
Yes.
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
Had done them before in a different stage of life. I wanted to do it again to feel beautiful for myself. I chose Jezebel because the messages and positive attitude from the FB group resonated with me, and of course the photos from all the clients were beautiful.
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?
I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect since every photographer’s process is different. The actual time during my session was super fun and I truly enjoyed it.
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
The red room and the blue dress I wore.
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?
It was perfect ♥
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?
I think about an hour? The make up was beautiful, I wish I knew how to do both makeup and hair myself!
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?
Good.
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?
Very positive and excited!!
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?
The slide show was fun! I ordered the digital, but would like to order a book when I can.
Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.
I think every woman should try it at least once, it is EMPOWERING!
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?
