Client Feature Friday: Girl You’re Amazing

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.

With Spring on its way, we’re wrapping up the last of our super hot Red Room sessions for the year, and this Belle is bringing the heat!

Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to a stunning Belle who was originally an Illinois native, but has since relocated to Washington! She has a fondness for the weather of the PNW, Sabrina Carpenter and Bruno Mars. Wanting to experience a boudoir session for years, she finally took the leap and is here to tell us all about her experience with Jezebel

Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?

I’m originally from Illinois but have since moved to Washington state. My favorite thing is the weather, not too hot and not too cold.

What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?

I enjoy a wide variety of music, though some of my current favorites include Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, and The Muse.

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?

Beautiful, Sassy, and Gorgeous!

Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?

This was my first session, and I enjoyed everything, from the makeup application to getting to play dress-up.

What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?

I’ve wanted to do a session for years and finally just booked it!

What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?

It was better than I expected. I didn’t really know too much going into it, but I felt so at ease and excited about the experience, the pep talks, and the good vibes!

Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?

I really enjoyed the blue robe and the blue and purple combinations but the red outfit might be my favorite!

How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?

It was great, and Sara knew what she was doing.

Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?

It was an amazing experience! I vibed so well with the hair and makeup artist. She brought me to tears because I felt so beautiful.

How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?

I don’t have any complaints! The entire experience was wonderful.

How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?

I felt amazing!

How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?

I was shocked and couldn’t believe that those photos were actually me!

Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.

I’m working on my desire to be more loving and gentle with myself.

Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?

Jezebel made sure I was comfortable the entire time and I felt appreciated and loved.

So seriously, if you want to feel good about yourself, get yourself a session on the books! I know I will be booking again soon because my experience was amazing!

Anything else you’d like to share?

No, I am just thankful to have met you all!

Thank you!

This client’s story really shows how magical a boudoir photoshoot can be in reclaiming our authentic selves. Her session with JVZ wasn’t just about taking beautiful photos; it was a safe, supportive space where she could remember how important it is to take a little time for ourselves.
