17 Jun BodyTalks: Tummy Tuesday – Why EVERY Body is a Boudoir Body
On Tuesdays, We Talk Tummies..
At Jezebel, we celebrate you. This encompasses every facet of who you are – who WE all are. We show you ways to see yourself through the lens of unconditional love, and we understand that some days it’s easy to appreciate ourselves, and other times it can be more of a challenge.
This is where we want to flip the script and really talk about what our bodies can do for us. Honest discussions can lead to acceptance, and acceptance can open our eyes to the possibilities of love.
Tuesdays at Jezebel are all about tummies! Each week we’ll be showcasing some of our favorite images where they have a starring role. We’ll be discussing the challenges we face with an often disliked part of our bodies and hopefully turning those conversations towards ones of appreciation.
But what if I don't like my tummy?!
Hello friends! Happy Tuesday! In this week’s BodyTalks: Tummy Tuesday post, we’re discussing something Jezebel is incredibly passionate about: diversity and inclusion.
Coming off of a myth-busting post from last week, today we’re diving into how Jezebel celebrates womxn. Part of our commitment is inspiring you to feel seen, beautiful and comfortable in your skin exactly as you are. Sometimes, people are afraid that their body isn’t “right” for boudoir. We’re here to say: EVERY body is a boudoir body!
We’re intentional about creating a space where womxn of all sizes, from petite to plus, feel safe and seen. Whether you’re curvy, athletic, slender, or somewhere in between, your body tells a story that deserves to be honored—not hidden or reshaped to fit someone else’s standard.
Your beauty doesn’t expire or diminish over time—it evolves.
We proudly welcome clients across the full spectrum of age and life experience.
Jezebel has photographed womxn in their early 20s exploring self-confidence for the first time, as well as clients in their 60s and 70s reclaiming a sense of self they thought had faded. Each person brings something deeply unique to their session, and that energy is what creates truly breathtaking images!
Loving our bodies is a journey
As June stretches towards July, and Pride celebrations abound, Jezebel is also here with a friendly reminder that our entire studio is passionate about celebrating your identity as a womxn. Whether you are AFAB, exploring femininity for the first time or are still on your journey of self-discovery, our goal is to reflect the real you through empowering, affirming imagery.
While we’re celebrating you and the body you call home, we believe every part of you tells a story. Scars, stretch marks, cellulite, surgery lines, freckles, wrinkles—these are not “flaws” to be hidden. They are part of your lived experience. At Jezebel, we don’t re-touch away the reality of your body. Instead, we encourage you to shift your perspective to a place of self-love and appreciation.
Our editing philosophy is rooted in respect: we enhance lighting, tone, and mood, but we never erase what makes you you. For more information on our process, stay tuned for our upcoming feature on what happens between your session and your reveal, and how Jezebel edits with integrity.
When you see your final images, we want you to feel proud—not of looking like someone else, but of seeing yourself through the lens of unconditional love, dignity, and power.
If you’ve been on the fence about booking a session simply because you believe you don’t have the “right” body, we hope this post inspires you to give yourself the gift of self-love and empowerment that can come with a day spent at Jezebel.
