Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on women of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to a strong, brave Belle who has a fondness for small town life, Taylor Swift and the sheer beauty of the Pacific Northwest! In her second session, she embraced being cloaked in color & crowned in confidence. She was giddy with excitement to see her reveal and left with another layer of power to add to the high she still felt from her session last year.

Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
I’m born and raised in Western Washington and I live in Lake Stevens. I love Lake Stevens because of how beautiful it is. I also love that it’s like a small town but we have Costco LOL!
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, but my favorite artist is Taylor Swift. I have many favorite songs, but currently have her new album on repeat. My favorites from her new album is The Fate of Ophelia, Actually Romantic, and CANCELLED!
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Strong, Brave, Empathetic.
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?
This is my second session, and my favorite part of both sessions are how confident and beautiful I felt ♥
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
I’ve always wanted to do a boudoir photo shoot but was never confident enough. I’ve gotten to a point in my life where I love myself as I am and decided to book a session to embrace that. Body positivity was the main reason I chose Jezebel over other studios.
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?
I didn’t know what to expect during my first session but I went into it with an open mind, though a little nervous. Sara made me feel so comfortable I was able to let go of the nervousness. ♥
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
My favorite set during the session was the wet T-shirt add on in the Tiger Room. It made me feel so sultry and powerful. I loved every minute of both of my sessions.
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?
I felt the guidance was great. My biggest concern was not knowing what to do during the session, but Sara was very clear in her direction which made the session very easy.
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?
I was really happy with my hair and make up for both sessions. I asked for a more natural look and both of the women made me feel beautiful but not over-the-top. 🥰
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?
Sara and Kaitlyn have been very respectful of my privacy and confidentiality.
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?
I felt empowered after both of my sessions and was so excited before both of my reveal sessions.
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?
I was really excited to see my pictures so my reveal appointment was highly-anticipated. I loved going through the pictures one-by-one and having time to look at the detail.
Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.
I learned to embrace myself and my body as it is and that has stuck with me since my first session. ♥
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?
I would say these sessions bring out your confidence and Sara is great at putting you at ease. This session boosted my confidence in a way that has stuck with me for over a year. Try it for yourself, you won’t regret it.
