Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on women of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to a caring and trustworthy Alaska native who has made her way to the Pacific Northwest via the Oregon Coast – and now lives in Snohomish. There’s just something about a small town vibe, while still be close to everything that calls to her.
Deciding she wanted to step out of her comfort zone, she signed up for one of our sessions and felt so at ease and pampered that she can’t wait to do it all again! ♥
Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
I’m was born in Juneau AK. Moved to Washington via the Oregon coast. Now living in Snohomish. I love the small town feel of Snohomish but being close to everything.
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
I don’t have a favorite song or artist. I love music. I don’t have a theme song, as I’ve never thought about one.
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Caring, Faithful, Trustworthy
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?
Yes this was my first session, and my favorite part was how confident and good about myself Sara helped me to feel. Plus it was loads of fun ♥
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and thought a boudoir session was the perfect way to do so.
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?
I hoped to feel confident and comfortable with myself after spending the day with Jezebel.
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
My favorite set was the spooky transition room, but my favorite outfit was my red top with black sparkly thigh highs. The jewelry from the studio was amazing.
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?
Sara made me so comfortable with her guidance it didn’t take long for me to get into a groove with her.
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?
Sara and Jackie made my time getting ready fly by. I felt so at ease and appreciate how they both helped me get ready before my session. 🥰
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?
It has been amazing!
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?
When I left I was on such a natural high. Looking so fabulous. I was very excited to see my photos.
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?
My reveal was great. I loved seeing how amazing I looked. I’m getting an 8×8 album and my slide show.
Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.
I have felt so much more confident about myself. And I’m working on being more comfortable in my body.
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?
Life is too short not to do it. Be yourself and have fun.

It was amazing and I will probably do it again!
This client’s story really shows how magical a boudoir photoshoot can be in reclaiming our authentic selves.
