Client Feature Friday: Fighting Fear and Feeling Like a Bad Bitch!

Jezebel VonZephyr works with all kinds of women, from the suburbs of Seattle to all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We love connecting with each client, hearing her stories and capturing her unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we feature one of our clients and share a little about her.

This week we feature a Belle who was experiencing some struggles in her life. She chose to do a session to get outside her comfort zone and work through some of her fears. How did it go? Read on to find out!

Where are you from? I was born in northern Cali, spent most of my childhood in the mountains of Colorado and came to Washington state in 1986.

What is your theme song? I love all music and have so many moods, how does one pick a theme song?! 

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Passionate, driven and present.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? Yes, this was my first, but I can’t wait to do another one. 

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? My friend Missie (hey girl!) had been talking about her shoots for many years and I was really intrigued. I was going through a really challenging time and decided to get outside my comfort zone to try and push through fear in as many ways as possible. A boudoir photo shoot seemed like a great place to start. 

How did you feel before your shoot? I was nervous and excited. I had the typical mean girl thoughts including: what if I look terrible in all the shots? What if I don’t know how to pose? What if I get there and I’m too freaked out to go through with it?

How was your session? What was your favorite part? My session was awesome! My favorite part was how comfortable Sara and Tiffany made me feel. I honestly felt so comfortable and with their help I was able to relax and really enjoy the shoot. 

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? My favorite look was the short robe with the red lips on it with the thigh highs and kick ass boots. I felt my inner Bad Bitch in that one! 

How are you feeling since your session? I left the shoot with more confidence and sass in my step than I have felt in years. That was before I even saw any of the photos. 

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? Lots of new lingerie, I now have a subscription to Savage X Fenty and treat myself every month. 

How was your reveal? My reveal was wonderful! My husband was sitting next to me and we had a great time seeing all the photos for the first time. 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? DO IT! 

Anything else you want to share about your session and/or experience? I am so grateful to have had this experience. I really feel that a piece of my soul that had been missing for so long was returned to me through this whole process. I feel empowered and confident again.
