I am married (almost 12 years now) and my husband and I have been together for almost 22 years. I am the owner and founder of Jezebel VonZephyr and I had the photography bug bite me as a young girl. I’ve had a decent camera all my life and always found pleasure in stopping time and capturing a moment. I have been a professional photographer now for almost ten years and found true meaning and purpose in helping women shed old stories and fall deeply, madly, in love with their bodies. The studio and this work are my passion, my mistress, and my love.
My husband and I, each have one daughter from previous relationships and neither of them lives nearby at the moment. My daughter has started a new life with her chosen family in Arizona and his daughter is currently in grad school in Sweden studying biochemistry.
We also have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Crowley, and Fergus. Both are named after Mark Sheppard’s character from Supernatural, my favorite and comfort show. Crowley is a lovable silly heffalump of a beasty dog and so very gentle. However, he is a bit internet famous after he went viral running in our freshly poured concrete driveway. He was even featured on Ellen!
Fergus oddly enough is the troublemaker and this past summer had 11 socks and a pair of panties removed from his tummy. I don’t have any videos of that but he sure is a cute boy. And he loves to snuggle. Neither of them loves to be photographed. LOL, such the photographer’s family life!
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors (in almost all weather pending I have the right gear), dining out with friends, board games, reading, and yes, capturing moments of my life with my camera or my phone. Fandoms for me are a bit extensive and include Supernatural, Star Wars, Friends, Harry Potter, Moulin Rouge, Disney, Music (so much music!!!), The Boys, Big Sky, The Conners, Bob’s Burgers, Resident Alien, The Great North, Arrowverse, and in the last year or so true crime stuff on occasion.
Trust me when I tell you, I understand the concept of your partner complimenting you “because you think they have to”. It’s not true, but I get it. I have my own insecurities as so many of us do, but I battle them by exposing them. Nervous about your stretch marks? We all have them, me too, and I’m happy to share them with you if you’d like. The more we can normalize the things the media tells us are abnormal, the better off we’ll all be. The world is literally here for you, waiting for you to unearth your greatness, put it on like a coat and leave a trail of glory behind you.
