Temporary Closure Notice from Our Founder

Hello Community,

We have done everything we possibly can to stay open and last night as I watched yet another video from Italy about the massive spread of this COVID19 virus I knew it was only a matter of time. This morning our Governor announced all businesses to close that cannot meet 6′ social distancing rules. That means us.

We cannot put your shoes on you from 6′ away.
We cannot latch your necklace from 6′ away.
We cannot adjust your bra strap or your stockings from 6′ away.
We cannot adjust your lipstick or eye shadow or foundation from 6′ away.
We cannot wipe your happy proud tears from 6′ away.
We cannot hold you while you shine in your own beauty from 6′ away.
WE cannot be US doing the magic we do with these kinds of restrictions.

And with the rapid spread not slowing, it’s no longer safe for us to try to stay open, so we made the deeply difficult decision to close this morning following the announcement from the state.

Facts over fear is where we have landed with this business from the get-go.

STYLE CONSULTS/SESSIONS/REVEALS:

As of this morning all style consultations, sessions and reveals through April 5th are in the process of being rescheduled. For those of you we spoke to today, THANK YOU for rescheduling your time with us so graciously. We did leave many voicemails, and are looking forward to talking to the rest of you in the coming days as we all navigate these very uncharted waters. IF we get further notice to stay closed for a longer period of time and that impacts any of that scheduling we did/are doing, we will contact you to move your dates again. There isn’t much else we can do at this point but ride the wave.

INTO ME I SEE RETREAT:

We have also made the hard choice to reschedule our Into Me I See retreat. It was scheduled for April 3rd-5th and will now be postponed till fall. Dates have not yet been chosen for this and once they are the page will be updated and a new blog post will go out. For those of you that have been wanting to attend and could not–THIS IS GOOD NEWS!!! If you’re interested please submit your application now. We can at least get your on boarding process going (there’s only 2 spots currently open) and then we can add you to the Facebook group where dates are being discussed with everyone to make this the best fit for us all. We are lucky in that the location of the retreat is willing to work with us and happy to reschedule so we have some choices here.

BRAND AMBASSADOR APPLICATIONS:

This program normally runs from spring till fall each year and this year we’re pushing it out to July through January instead. Application are closed while we make adjustments to dates and application needs. If you have applied please know we are hanging onto your application for the time being and it is still under consideration.

PAYMENT PLANS:

If you are a current client and on a payment plan for sessions, retreat or product please do everything you possibly can to keep your payments as scheduled. We are still running cards on Monday’s as we always do and still delivering digital product as scheduled. As a small business I am BEGGING YOU to please remember we are the little fish. I see a lot of things circulating on social media about helping small business and many clients committing to helping local small business every single day. Most of the small businesses that have been listed or coming to mind for many of you are restaurants and coffee shops. I cannot stress enough how deeply we need you to stick to your  payment agreement as much as you can. I know we allow for skipped payments and I’m asking if you are in a bind to make any payment you can. A full payment is ideal, but a partial payment is better than nothing. We do know about the grant/loan programs through the state. We do not qualify for a couple of reasons 1) we are not open to all ages and 2) we don’t meet the financial requirements. There are literally 3 families you are supporting. 6 adults, 3 children and 4 dogs and 1 cat. We are counting on you like you cannot believe.

PHYSICAL PRODUCT ORDERS/SHIPMENTS:

If you have submitted a product order prior to Friday, March 13th, your product has been/will be ordered and shipped to you. Kaitlyn has been instructed to only enter the post office if there are less than 5 people there and/or to use the kiosks when possible. If you are wrapping your payment plan now or soon, and will be ready to submit your product order, please do so. We still want you to send in your product order, we just will not be placing any product orders till the quarantines are done. That might be 2 weeks it might be 8 weeks. We don’t know yet.

We are fully planning to do many Facebook LIVE videos in the next 2-6 weeks and have much entertainment coming your way. We’d love to have you join us for the fun in Jezebel’s Future Belles if you are not there already. All of these choices were made with heavy hearts but I do believe it is the best thing for our entire community.
