Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Our client feature Friday this week welcomes back to the studio a silly and brave Belle who has a fondness for the the natural beauty of the islands, an eclectic range of music and Epic the Musical! After originally meeting the team at ECCC and booking her first session, this beautiful soul decided she needed to come see us again – which we love to see! Stay tuned as she tells us all about her second session ♥
Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
Oak Harbor, Washington. I born here and am still there. It is a beautiful island!
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
I’m very eclectic, I like a lot of different music. I like Ghost, and Bear Ghost, as well as Epic the Musical. I don’t think I have a theme song and my favorite changes by the minute!
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Silly, Brave, Blunt
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?
No this was my second session. All of it was great, the team is amazing and they made me super comfortable. I was not self conscious at all. I did love the red room!
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
I was always interested, but ran into them at Emerald City Comic Con and booked my first session. I enjoyed it so much that I had to do it again!
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?
As it was my second session, it went how I was expecting it to, and I had so much fun!
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
Loved the red room, my favorite outfit was a tie between my second with the gold and my last with black and red. Favorite thing I wore were the boots that my wife got for me ♥
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?
It was easy to follow and helped me feel super comfortable!
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?
The makeup artist was great and I always love the pampered feeling you get when someone else is doing it for you!
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?
Perfectly!
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?
Happy and very excited!
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?
I was super happy, I feel like it went even better the second time!
Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.
It has helped me get more used to my self and my body, let me be a little more bold ♥
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?
Pick items you are comfortable wearing, the session goes better if your don’t feel like you have to hide or constantly adjust!
This client’s story really shows how uplifting a second boudoir photoshoot can be! Her session with JVZ wasn’t just about taking beautiful photos; it was a relaxing, supportive space where she could continue to learn about and love her body!
