Client Feature Friday: Seeing Herself in a Sultry, Powerful Way!

Jezebel VonZephyr works with all kinds of women, from the suburbs of Seattle to all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We love connecting with each client, hearing her stories and capturing her unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we feature one of our clients and share a little about her. 

Today we feature a woman who’s always wanted to do a boudoir shoot, but was waiting for the right time. She came into our studio to celebrate a major milestone and see herself in a new light. We were thrilled to celebrate her and help her find her sexy side! Scroll on to see how she slayed her first Jezebel shoot!

Age: I am 47 years old.

Where are you from? I was born and raised here in Washington.

What is your theme song? I don’t have a theme song, but I love music.

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? The three words I use to describe myself are tattooed on my lower back: strength, passion, and determination.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? I’ve had one session and have another booked because I am hooked!

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I have been on a journey this year. I had bariatric sleeve surgery and lost 111lbs and gained soooo much muscle. 

I booked my first session because Sara reached out to me. I have always had the desire to actually do a boudoir shoot, but the lack of confidence. I needed to see “me”. 

How did you feel before your shoot? I was excited and terrified. I showed up 30 minutes early and had to reach out to my friend’s to talk me down from a complete panic attack complete with not being able to breathe and tears. Once in the studio I was quickly scooped up and showered with love and support.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? My favorite part of my session was trusting in the beauty I had seen in these artists’ photos, and doing my best to let my sexy show. Scratch that–my favorite part was when Sarah turned the camera for me to see “me”. I was literally speechless. I could finally SEE me! The way others do now! ❤️

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? I loved the royal blue gown as that is my husband’s favorite color, and made my eye color pop (it’s one of my favorite features). My eyes change color depending on the jewel tone I am wearing! It was so hard to choose a favorite picture, because I loved them all so much–I had to buy them ALL!

How are you feeling since your session? I am still on cloud 9! I love looking, loving, and connecting with the images looking back at me.

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought something sexy special for my husband, my riding chaps because Sarah told me to, and they are badass! And something sultry, because that is how I wanted to feel. By the way? That goal was achieved!

How was your reveal? My reveal was life-changing! It brought tears to my eyes! I have NEVER had such STUNNING pictures taken of me EVER! 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? My advice for anyone thinking about booking, but scared to take the leap: JUMP! These ladies will catch you, doll you up, love you, see YOU, capture the true you, like you have never seen yourself before, but knew you were.

Anything else you want to share about your session and/or experience? If you have ANY self doubt: please love yourself enough to see yourself. Take that mean girl off your shoulders. Love the skin you are in. Book your session, love the you that you are!
