Client Feature Friday: Trusting the Timing

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on women of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear her stories and capture her unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so she can share a part of her story. 

Today we feature a new Belle, who took advantage of our birthday special this summer. She thought our special was a sign and fate, so she trusted that timing and came in! We’re so glad she did!

Where are you from? Sammamish, WA

What is your theme song? Unstoppable by Sia

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Kind, understanding, and honest.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? Yes, this was my first shoot.

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I have wanted to do one for a long time but the cost was keeping me from doing it. I saw a post about JVZ having a birthday sale and it was 5 days after breaking up with a guy who cheated on me.

I thought “that must be fate!” so I booked the session right away!

How did you feel before your shoot? I was excited and a little bit nervous.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? My session was amazing! It was so much more fun than I thought it would be! My favorite part was the way that Sara kept complimenting me the whole time she was taking pictures.

She kept saying how amazing the pictures were and she was right!

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? The blue chainmail “dress” because it was so different from anything else I have thought to wear and the pictures of me wearing it turned out AMAZING! It was cold starting out but warmed up quickly and hugged my body in a wonderful way!

How are you feeling since your session? I feel so much more confident about my appearance. I am more willing to wear outfits that I didn’t think were appropriate before.

I feel more beautiful and comfortable in my own skin. 

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought a little red dress that I love but it’s quite revealing and I have only worn it once–about 6 years ago.

I didn’t wind up wearing it for the photo shoot (because JVZ has soooo many amazing outfits) but I have worn it since the shoot three times! That’s three times in less than three months! Every time I wear that dress I receive so many compliments!

How was your reveal?  It was amazing! I was shocked at how great the pictures turned out!

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? I would say to relax, smile and go with whatever Sara, the photographer, says she wants you to do.

They are professionals and know what they are doing and how to make the pictures turn out amazing!
