Client Feature Friday: Taking Time To Feel Empowered!

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear her stories and capture her unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so she can share a part of her story. 

Today we have a repeat client telling a part of her story! She’s an OG Belle (meaning she had a session at our original studio in Bothell back in the day) and she’s been returning ever since because she loves the way it makes her feel! The JVZ team loves to celebrate and empower womxn, so we love when people come back for that exact reason!

Where are you from? Everett, Washington–although I prefer to say the Seattle area! 

What is your theme song? I can’t think of one! 

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Sarcastic, Loyal, Thoughtful

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? That was my third. My first was in the OG studio back in 2014, then I did another at the Bothell House in 2018, and my latest was in the new studio in 2021!

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I love the idea of something being all about me.

I like that I get to get dressed up and be whoever I want to be for a few hours!

It’s my time and experience to feel empowered.

How did you feel before your shoot? Super excited!

It’s hard to explain the way a shoot makes you feel. During and after you feel a lot of different things.

Happy, glamorous, center of attention–like a badass! And sexy.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? I think this was my favorite session, I was so excited. I knew what to expect and came prepared. I also knew Sara and Tiffany would help me with a few items I was missing.

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? My favorite look was my first outfit. White lingerie with sparkles and what Sara called the, “I just killed my husband robe” that was blue. I LOVE those pictures.

How are you feeling since your session? Amazing, I will have those pictures forever!

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? Nothing of sentimental value. I ordered a few things I was excited to try out, and they didn’t disappoint! The picture is the sentimental part for me.

How was your reveal? Exciting! I couldn’t wait to see how they turned out! 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? DO IT! 1000 times do it! Even if you’re out of your comfort zone, which I wasn’t! I recommend this to EVERYONE! Go be a model for the day!
