Congratulations! You’re thinking about booking with Jezebel and we could not be more excited for you! We know that scheduling a boudoir session can be stressful and nerve-wracking, so to help and support you as you make your decision, here are some of our most Frequently Asked Questions.

Do you share my images?

At Jezebel VonZephyr, consent is queen. We will never share your images without your express, written consent. At your reveal you’ll be shown all your photos; after that you will get to decide if you give us permission to use any of your photos, then choose which ones (if any) you’re OK with sharing. 

All of the images you see in our social media, marketing, and blog posts are shared only because womxn have given us permission to do so.

Do I have to wear lingerie?

No, lovely, you do not! You can wear whatever you want to your session. If lingerie doesn’t feel like “you” we can help you figure out what does and then do our best to make sure you feel comfortable and sexy (if that’s your goal) so you can shine during your shoot! We’ve done many sessions where womxn have felt their best in a sports jersey, favorite tee, or flannel shirt. Whatever you want to wear–we can work with it! 

We do want to add, though, that while we want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your session, we may try to get you to go a little outside of your comfort zone. That means that we may recommend that you try on some risque panties or consider an ensemble you might not have originally planned to wear. We want women to see themselves in a new, loving light and we have seen magic spark when womxn step outside of their comfort zones and say yes to things they may not have before.

That being said, you are in charge and we will always respect your boundaries because consent is key at every Jezebel session. 

Do you have payment plans?

Yes we do! We offer payment plans, both for sessions and for our products. We believe that boudoir sessions (and self-care) should be accessible to all, so we work with womxn to ensure that you can afford it. To book a session you must put down a deposit; after that you can pay off the session bit by bit. We only ask that you have your session fully paid before you come to the studio on your selected date. 

At your reveal we will also work with you to create a payment plan if you want to purchase digital prints or any of our stunning products. 

Is hair and makeup included?

es! We include hair and makeup with every session, except the Mini Session. Only makeup is included in the price for the Mini, though hair styling can be added on for an additional $50. With all of our other sessions, however, you will get your hair and makeup done by our incredible resident artist, Tiffany! No matter what session you choose she’ll work with you to make sure she creates a look that will make you feel like the best, most exquisite version of yourself! 

Do you photoshop my images?

No, we do not photoshop your images. At Jezebel VonZephyr we want womxn to see how incredibly beautiful they are, exactly as they are. All bodies are good bodies and our hope is that we can help you see yourself through our loving lens–no photoshop needed! 

Where should I buy my outfits?

Here’s a secret: you don’t need to buy a lot of new stuff for your session. If you’d like to go shopping then please go! Have fun! Yay shopping! But you do not need to buy a lot if you don’t want to. Shop your closet first. Pack anything that you love, whether that’s panties, t-shirts, a favorite twirly dress, sparkly accessories, or anything else you love to wear.

We want your personality to shine through in your pictures and the best way to ensure that is for you to wear things that make you feel like the best version of you! 

If you want to buy some new things for your session, then shop at any stores that you love. We love Torrid and Lane Bryant for size-inclusive lingerie and panties. We’ve also seen some really great items from Target, Walmart, and Victoria’s Secret. If you want to do some online shopping, we love Amazon and Shein as well as Hips & Curves, Yitty, Adore Me, and Savage X Fenty for more inclusive options. We want to also remind people to always check the sizes and measurements on clothing before purchasing it online. Sizes can vary wildly, so plan ahead, read reviews and double check measurements if you’re hoping to find the perfect piece online!  

What type of print products do you offer?

We offer a wide range of products to fit your price point and needs! Some of our most popular products are photo albums, metal prints (offered in various sizes) and printed and matted photos in a photo box. You’ll be offered a menu of options and packages at your reveal that will go into detail. 

Do you offer digital prints?

Yes, we do! Every session comes with at least a couple of digital prints (both in black and white and color). And you will have the option to purchase some or all of your digital prints at your reveal. 

I’m freaking out! How can I calm down before my shoot?

We get it! A photo shoot–especially one where you may be semi-naked–is stressful!

First things first: breathe, please, lovely! Take several deep breaths. Feeling nervous, scared, stressed, and/or panicked before your session is 100% normal. We want you to know that. Hell, even the team gets nervous before their sessions! It’s perfectly natural. The best thing you can do for yourself is breathe.

And take care of yourself leading up to your session. Get as much sleep as you can and make sure you drink lots of water. Nourish yourself with foods that you love. Remember your reason(s) for booking your shoot. And feel your feelings. 

We’re here to help you, too. You’re not alone in this–we’re here with and for you throughout your session! We will be your biggest cheerleaders and hype womxn during your shoot. We’ve helped hundreds of womxn work through their nerves.

We will honor where you’re at and hold space for all of your feelings before, during, and after your session. You got this, lovely!

How many outfits should I bring?

It depends on what kind of session you’re doing! We recommend that you bring more outfits and pieces than you’re likely to wear because we like options! As a general rule, though, if you’re coming in for a Mini Session, bring in three to four outfits. For our popular Signature Session you’ll want to bring in five to six outfits. And for a Soul2Soul session bring six to seven outfits with you.

We also want to note that we can pull pieces, accessories and outfits from our vast, size-inclusive Client Closet for your session as well! 

Should I get to my shoot early?

We love a queen who arrives early! That being said, please do not arrive at the studio more than ten or fifteen minutes early. Our sessions sometimes run a little over and we want to ensure that every client gets the privacy and time they need as we wrap up their shoot! 

Where is the JVZ studio located?

Our studio is located in beautiful, historic downtown Snohomish! Our address is 1118 1st Street, Suite #401. We are located in the upstairs unit of our gorgeous building and our studio gets amazing natural light that is stunning in every season! We do want to note that parking in downtown Snohomish can be tricky, especially on weekends, so please factor that in when planning your trip to our studio.
