Client Feature Friday: Crying Happy Tears

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.

Today we feature a new client who came in for a Soul2Soul session after a really hard time in her life. We are so grateful that she did. Many tears were shed during and after her session, which happens a lot in the Jezebel studio. (And it’s not a bad thing, we promise!) Let’s hear how her experience went.

Age: I just turned 44 on Wednesday. 

Where are you from? I was born in Salt Lake City but I moved around way too much. 

What is your theme song? This is my fight song

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Kind, loving, passionate. 

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? Yes, it was the first and I hope to have more!

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ?  So I could see what everyone else sees in me. But then I saw so much in myself afterwards.

How did you feel before your shoot? I had nerves on the drive over. And fear.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? It was amazing. And even being injured they helped and worked with me. Sara and the Jezebel staff are amazing. 

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? I can’t pick just one but me standing there with my shawl on looking back over my shoulder–that look and how I felt is up there for me. 

How are you feeling since your session? I feel amazing. I’m now working on making my mean girl see that we are OK.

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? Yes, I brought my Native American stuff: my shawl and fans and jewelry. They mean so much to me.

How was your reveal? I cried happy tears.

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Take the leap of faith. I was scared at first. But it’s so worth it.

I did the Soul2Soul session and I do not regret it. Even after my session the JVZ team is still working with me.

Anything else you’d like to share? I did my session just before surgery due to a DV situation and I would not change the timing of when I did mine. The Jezebel womxn are so kind and uplifting. You will walk away glowing.
