Client Feature Friday: Feeling Like Fire

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.

Today we’re excited to feature a new client. She’s wanted to do a Jezebel session for a while and she had such a good time that she’s already booked another shoot! We think that maybe she had a good time in the studio. 😉

Where are you from? I was born and raised in Tacoma in the BEAUTIFUL PNW!

What is your theme song? I don’t really have one; how do you pick just ONE SONG??? My current favorite is Let Me Down Easy by Billy Currington. Another is Chunky by Bruno Mars.

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Smart, friendly, emotional. These words change daily. Sometimes hourly. I suffer from depression  and it definitely affects how I feel about myself. Other words I would usually use would be confident, sexy, loud, genuine, loyal, caring.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? Yes! It was amazing! I highly recommend that everyone does this for themselves! I already booked another one!

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I had done a boudoir shoot many years ago and it was so fun that I wanted to do another.

Sara has a gift of showing you how you look in other people’s eyes. Not that that should matter but too many of us only see our own flaws and do not see our own full beauty, inside and out.

How did you feel before your shoot? I was VERY excited, not at all nervous.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? It was so fun!!!! We laughed and told jokes like old friends! It was a very comfortable, safe space. I would say my last “scene” was my favorite.

I felt so sexy!!!

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? The last was my favorite because it was absolute fire (quite literally) but I loved all of them.

How are you feeling since your session? I feel great, knowing I have those pictures that I can look at and see just how gorgeous I am!

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought my favorite books. I absolutely love reading; one of the books was another passion of mine, Frida Kahlo. She was such an amazing woman: strong, brave, outspoken, talented, and beautiful.  She can convey so much without uttering a word!

How was your reveal? It was great! A little funny because I had to use my phone since my computer doesn’t have a camera.

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Do it!

Abandon your inhibitions and do not listen to those negative voices.

Lose yourself in the moment and just feel.
