We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
At 59, life had thrown numerous challenges at this client. From battling breast cancer and enduring radiation treatments to facing financial setbacks and dental issues, she had faced it all. Seeking a positive change, and stumbling across our Goddess Giveaway, she decided it was her turn. Despite initial anxieties, the experience proved transformative, leaving her feeling empowered and rejuvenated. Here’s her inspiring journey from adversity to empowerment.

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Loyal, funny, protective
Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not how many have you had? Yes
Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? Just finished with radiation treatment from breast cancer, had a credit card company drain my bank account, and broke another tooth. It was time to do something fun just for me.
How did you feel before your shoot? I had some anxiety, nervous.
How was your session? What was your favorite part? My session was fantastic! Favorite part, there wasn’t just one! The whole session was my favorite!
What was your favorite look from your session? Why? Loved the mermaid skirt and corset. Felt like I was being held together and in a big hug.
How are you feeling since your session? I feel great! Turned things around. Bank got straightened out and got my teeth fixed.
Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? No, I used all of your beautiful items. Why? You have way cooler things than I do.
How was your reveal? Reval was fantastic! I’d never seen so many pictures of myself in one place. And pictures I loved
Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Do it! You only live once and to be pampered and directed how to pose and stuff is very fun!
