Raising Funds and Having Fun!

Jezebel VonZephyr is all about raising hell, especially when our rights are on the line. We knew we had to do something to support Planned Parenthood once the Roe decision became a reality.

So we decided to host a very feminist fundraiser on September 17th in order to raise money for Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho.

And so, our first ever Pay-What-You-Can event was born! Participants had the opportunity to have micro-sessions in our studio if they donated at least $20 to PPGWNI. 

And damn, did our community show up!

As of today, JVZ has raised $700 for Planned Parenthood, thanks to our amazing clients and our first-ever Pay-What-You-Can Event! 

Some women came for headshots. 

Others just wanted photos to capture themselves at this moment in time.

Friends came to the studio together, did sessions on their own and cheered each other on. 

(And a couple snagged some cute friend shots, too!) 

Since clients had to come camera-ready, we were lucky to capture a variety of looks. 

Some women decided on casual attire, while others dressed to the nines.

All were captured in their authentic glory!

It’s safe to say that our first ever Pay-What-You-Can event was a smashing success! We are so thrilled that our community showed up and helped us to raise $700 for Planned Parenthood. Thank you all so much!

It’s also safe to say that this will not be our last Pay-What-You-Can fundraiser. We want to hold these quarterly and plans are already underway for our winter event. If you want in, just watch our blog and social media because more details will be coming soon!

We can’t wait to raise funds for worthy causes and have a lot of fun while doing so!
