Who We Are

Jezebel VonZephyr is a body positive boudoir studio located in historic downtown Snohomish. The Jezebel team consists of three core team members who put their heart and soul into the business.

Jezebel VonZephyr aims to be much more than a typical boudoir session to womxn–we want it to be an experience where our clients feel safe, seen and celebrated throughout their session and reveal–and beyond!

We whole-heartedly believe that boudoir is for every body and we do everything we can to make it accessible to everyone. We are deeply body positive; it is foundational to the work we do with our clients and the Jezebel community.

Who we’re looking for

The Jezebel team is looking for someone who resonates with the mission of JVZ: to be a holistic boudoir experience that helps our clients to feel seen and celebrated.

We aim to take care of our clients throughout the entire process, from their first contact with us through to the reveal. Hair and makeup is a critical part of the Jezebel experience, so we need an artist who aims to help our clients feel understood and special in the makeup chair. Every client has different hopes and needs for their session, so our new artist must be able to create a variety of looks in order to serve our clients.

Because we are a boudoir studio you also must be comfortable with all naked bodies. And because Jezebel VonZephyr is a safe space you must also be an ally to all marginalized communities.

What you’ll do

We’re a boudoir studio who does a variety of sessions each week. Every client is a different work experience and we love it! You’ll be creating stunning looks for our clients and helping them to have an amazing studio experience. You’ll also be helping out on-set during sessions. And because we aim to create a supportive, positive experience for each client we want you to help us uplift and support each womxn during their session!

We also cannot stress enough that you must be comfortable with bodies of all shapes and sizes as well as seeing those bodies naked in a variety of poses and settings.

What you must have

• 10+ years in the industry
• On-set experience
• Bridal experience
• Your own kit 
• Reliable transportation
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent direction changes
• Not a requirement but nice to have: being a little nerdy because the JVZ team is a bunch of nerds!!!

When you’ll be working

This is a part-time position. We need our new Hair & Makeup Artist to be available every Wednesday. Additionally you’ll need to work one Saturday a month. You will be expected to be on-set for entire sessions. 

We recognize that new jobs are stressful, especially when it’s in a creative environment like a boudoir studio! We’ll make sure you have the training you need to set you up for success, so you will need to shadow at least one Mini Session and one Signature Session. We will also give you all of the information and support you need to feel like a key part of our team!

What you’ll make

We value our team members and want to make sure they’re taken care of. Our part-time Hair & Makeup Artist will make $25 an hour.
