Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Happy Friday beautiful friends! This week we’re back with a new Belle Spotlight!
Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to an fighter of a Belle who has a fondness for the peace that comes with quiet, Alicia Keys and the beautiful Tulalip retreat she calls home. After we popped up on her Facebook page, she decided a day of self-love was right up her alley โฅ
Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
I was born in Tacoma, though I have since moved to Tulalip where the peace and quiet are my favorite parts of where I live.ย
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
Alicia Keys is one of my favorite artists, and even though I can’t explain why,ย
“No One”
reminds me of my dad; this song was played at his funeral and it still resonates with me every time I hear it.
What are three words youโd use to describe yourself?ย
Introvert, Fighter, Stubborn
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?ย ย
It was my first session, though one day I may have another!
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
Actually it popped up on Facebook page. I’d never had one, and thought I should!
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?ย
I actually didn’t have any expectations. I truly enjoyed the experience it made me feel better as a person.
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
I actually liked them all, but I think my two favorites were with the crown and my Cheshire Cat hoodie on the bed. The Cheshire was more me with the books. The crown reminded me that I am a queen and no one can take that away from me.
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?ย ย
I loved it!
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?ย
The make up was fine there were colors I wouldn’t have thought to use. I loved feeling pampered.
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?ย ย
It was good!
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?ย
Beautiful, and proud of myself!
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?ย
It was good – I had a hard time deciding! At the end of the appointment, I decided to invest in myself and just bought all of them ๐
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?ย
Be yourself and trust in their guidance, because they will never have you do something you are not comfortable with โฅ
This clientโs story really shows how magical a boudoir photoshoot can be in reclaiming our authentic selves.ย Her session with JVZ was an unexpected but empowering day where she was able to feel pampered encouraging her to remember that she is a Queen!
