Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.
Our client feature Friday this week introduces us to a friendly, nurturing Belle who loves to discover new music and enjoys all of the activities that are right outside her front door! After her friends had sessions, she decided to jump in and have one herself. Now, she’s spreading the love to her other friends! Through complete comfort, an amazing “dead husband robe” and lots of laughter, this beautiful woman tells us about how she walked away from her session knowing that she too, is a Goddess ♥
Where are you from? Where do you live now? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
I am from Tacoma originally, but I live in Chehalis. My favorite thing about this area is that I have many outdoor activities directly in my backyard.
What are some of your favorite songs/artists? Do you have a theme song–if so, what is it and why does that song(s) resonate with you?
I love hearing new music, learning of artists I have never heard before, new and old. I am constantly looking for new things to listen to!
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Oblivious, Friendly, Nurturer
Is this your first Jezebel session? If not, how many have you had and in either instance, what was your favorite part?
This was my first session – I am no longer a Jezebel virgin!! My favorite part was that I was able to forget my weight and my skin issues and laughed a lot.
What made you want to have a boudoir session and what made you choose Jezebel as your studio?
Honestly, my friends did it (yes, I would jump off a cliff LOL) and they used Jezebel so I did too!
What were your expectations going into the session and was the experience different or as you expected and how?
I did not know what to expect exactly, but the experience was not as nerve-wracking as I thought it would be ♥
Tell me about your session–your favorite set? outfit? prop? moment? favorite studio piece you used/wore? What stood out the most?
I absolutely loved the set with the “dead husband” robe! I just felt like a little kid.
How did you feel about the guidance you received during the session?
Oh My Gosh! It was awesome.
Tell us about your hair styling/makeup application? How was your time in the chair? What did you really love?
My time in the chair was great. I felt like I was part of the team and the conversation.
How do you feel JVZ managed your privacy and confidentiality, both of your images and of you during your time with us?
I feel they handled it very well, even though I kept mentioning said friends who did sessions!
How were you feeling leaving the studio and leading up to your photo reveal appointment?
I felt great leaving the studio. I had a great time, and I think I smiled all the way home. I was nervous about my reveal, only because I personally do not like how I look. BOY, was I surprised when I saw the reveal. I had tears in my eyes during the slideshow!
How was your reveal appointment? What did you like the most about it? What did you take home with you?
I was nervous, but the ladies were so nice and made me feel at ease. They answered any questions I had, even if I thought it was a “dumb” question. I took home the knowledge that I too, can look like a goddess.
Have you had any lasting impact/perspective shifts since your appointment? If so, please share as much as you’re comfortable with.
I was not one to wear fancy undergarments or the like but I actually have some nice bras that accentuate the girls and now they make me feel sexy when I wear them.
Other than “just do it”, what advice would you offer a friend interested in a session to book with Jezebel? What tips might you give? What were the best tips you received either from us or from others?
I actually drove a family member to see where the studio is because she is interested. I told her to do it and just have a blast. The best tip was “just have fun”, and I did!
Anything else you’d like to share?
I had never done this before. I was very nervous, but from the moment I walked in I was treated like someone special not like a “big girl”. The ladies were there for me from the first second. No one was giving me the ugly up/down look, no one was on their phones the whole session, and the attention was all on me!
This client’s story really shows how incredible a boudoir session can be for embracing our inner fire. Her session with JVZ wasn’t just about taking beautiful photos; it was an uplifting, genuine space where she got to feel pampered and walked away with the knowledge that she is a Goddess ♥
