Hello Friends! Happy June! As our communities hang flags and post messages of allyship on social media in an effort to honor the vibrant spectrum of LGBTQ+ identities, we want to take a moment to talk about Pride and Jezebel.
Whether you’re part of the Queer community yourself, an ally, or someone still exploring where you fit, Jezebel wants to extend an invitation for you to embrace authenticity and connection. Pride isn’t just about parades or flags—it’s about visibility, safety, and joy in being who you are, without compromise. It’s a reminder that you deserve to see yourself through the lens of unconditional love, not just this month, but always.
As we reflect on the outpouring of love and support that floods our communities during the weeks leading up to the start of summer, we want you to know that Jezebel has always been and will always be a safe, supportive space that celebrates who you are, exactly as you are – right now. Pride isn’t a holiday for us. Holidays come once a year. Jezebel celebrates you 365 days a year.
Seeing yourself through the lens of unconditional love
For those navigating their identity, especially in environments that may not be affirming, finding even one safe space or ally can make a profound difference. Feeling safe means knowing that your pronouns will be respected, your relationships acknowledged, and your experiences validated. However, it’s not just about acceptance—it’s about celebration, where queerness is not tolerated but cherished, and where every person is honored for who they are.
True allyship involves listening, educating oneself, and standing up against homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination. As allies we continually work to create safer, more inclusive environments by challenging harmful language, advocating for inclusive policies, and amplifying queer stories and achievements. It’s about showing up with humility and consistency—recognizing that being seen, heard, and valued is essential for everyone’s well-being and sense of belonging.
An open invitation to Celebrate with us
With exciting community events, Jezebel’s Birthday celebration and our love of being in the sun, summer is always an exciting time at Jezebel. This year will be no different. In fact, we’ll be closing the studio for a month this year to focus on a complete remodel! As we say goodbye to our current set-up and look forward to everything new and exciting that’s approaching, we want to extend an invitation for you to come spend time with us at our Pride Open House!

July is demo month. Almost everything inside these walls will change. New bed, new sofa, new garden tub room, new backdrops, paint, wallpaper and floors. Then, on August 2nd, we celebrate our 12th birthday with a Grand Reopening you won’t want to miss.
