Client Feature Friday: Feelin’ Like a Queen!

Jezebel VonZephyr works with all kinds of women, from the suburbs of Seattle to all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We love connecting with each client, hearing their stories and capturing their unique spirit. We believe that each session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. Every Friday we’ll feature one of our clients and share a little about her. 

This week’s Belle calls Bothell, Washington home. She visited our studio a few years ago because she wanted to celebrate a major milestone in her life with a fun and flirty boudoir session. We were so happy to help her out! Read on to find out more about this Bothell beauty!  

Age: I’m 37 now

Where are you from? Bothell, Washington

What is your theme song? Bebe Rexha’s songs “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” and “I’m a Mess” – these describe this time in my life word for word! I live everyday with hope for the next day!!! I know tomorrow will be a good day! Friends and family will be there when I can’t be there for myself!!

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Energetic/spontaneous, Sensitive, Outgoing

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had?  I have only had one

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? Because I lost over 180 lbs and wanted to show it off!

How did you feel before your shoot? I was nervous, and excited at the same time.  I had never let anyone see my body before other than my husband because of all the excess skin and stretch marks.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? My hair and makeup!! I felt like a queen!! I never looked soooo beautiful!!!

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? When I was on the bed and my head was back, the curls were flowing back, this is one of my favorite looks with anyone’s pictures. It’s something about the free fall of the curls I think.

How are you feeling since your session?  I am still amazed when I look at my pictures on the wall, I try not to pick them apart!! I know that no one looks at them and sees flaws. That’s what Jezebel taught me: don’t pick yourself apart. Love every flaw. All of yourself!!

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? I brought my husband’s Steelers Jersey!! At the time it was his favorite NFL team. I also brought the dress that I was married in.

How was your reveal? AMAZING!!! I was in love with EVERY picture!!!

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Go for the biggest package – save your money and then go big!! It’s definitely worth it!! You will forever cherish the experience and memory!

Anything else you want to share about your session and/or experience?  I wish that I had done it on a weekend so I could have enjoyed the feeling of joy after leaving the studio instead of having to go home and straight to bed.  I felt like a million dollars and had to go to sleep. That was hard to do. To anyone wanting to book a session, learn from my story! Do your best to try to enjoy the entire day because it should be just for you. It’s your day to be a queen!!!
