Client Feature Friday: From Disconnected to Seeing Herself Differently

Jezebel VonZephyr loves to shine a spotlight on womxn of every age and size. We live to connect with each client; and we pride ourselves on holding space for each of them so we can hear their stories and capture their unique spirit. We believe that every session is special in its own way, and we want to share that magic with the world. On Fridays we shine a spotlight on a client so they can share a part of their story.

Today’s client has done a few sessions with us and we’ve loved having her in the studio! She decided to do a repeat session because she was feeling disconnected from her body. Did the session help? Read on to find out!

Where are you from? I was born in Bellevue, Washington.

What is your theme song? Rise Up by Andra Day

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself? Caring, awesome, compassionate.

Is this your first Jezebel shoot? If not, how many have you had? I’ve had three sessions now. 

Why did you decide to book a session with JVZ? I needed a pick-me-up after struggling mentally and physically for years.

How did you feel before your shoot? I felt disconnected from myself.

How was your session? What was your favorite part? My session was incredible, it really made me look at myself in a different light. I love how Sara makes you feel at ease, and beautiful. 

What was your favorite look from your session? Why? The purple bodysuit!

It made me feel powerful. 

How are you feeling since your session? I feel stronger in my thoughts about myself, feeling more at home in my body

Did you bring anything special with you to the studio? Why? No, I didn’t.

How was your reveal? I loved it. Everything about it has been incredible! 

Any advice for anyone thinking of booking a session with JVZ? Do not pass go, do not collect $200. (I’m saying you should absolutely book the session.)

It’s entirely worth it at the end of the day.

Anything else you’d like to share? Jezebel is doing incredible work to make people feel empowered and safe in their own skin.
